Here is today's project, my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

It's another balloon butterfly, one made using some left over bits from the balloon frame as explained im my tutorial here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

I popped it up against a stencilled background and finished off with a stamped sentiment and sequin.

Make A Wish

Hi Friends!

I got another balloon card today as my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

I aligned the ovals to sponge the frame before using the corresponding oval as a mask and stamping the script and small splatters. Next I layered up my balloon and sentiment, attached them to my card and finished off with sequins.

Sadly, the camera wasn't able to catch the sparkle from my glittery sentiment which I rather liked ... hmmm ... maybe I'll be adding more sparkle to my cards this year. What do you think?

Heart Balloon to Butterfly

Hi Friends!

Just sharing what I made for my first Spotlight project of 2022 over at STAMPlorations. When I recently rearranged my craft space I found some die-cut balloons with their negative cuts which I had kept for future use.

Today's project tutorial makes good use of the inner negative cut from the balloon frame. Have a look.

Birthday Balloons

Happy New Year,  Friends!

Hope you celebrated well. Here is today's project, my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

Well, my craft space is finally fully up for use again. Whilst doing all the rearranging I found some bits I wanted to use up. These die-cut balloons were some of what I came across.

Rather than turning them into shakers I decided to use them as frames and add colour by stamping encouraging words using spring Meadow, Periwinkle and Pink Jellybean Prism inks.

I added some subtle stars in Jersey Cream Prism ink and a white embossed sentiment to finish.
