It's the start of a new challenge over at The Male Room challenge blog where the bi-weekly challenge is all about making cards for the men in our lives. Here is my DT project ...
I went for a make inspired by my favourite 'whodunnit' Morse, taken out of its Oxford setting and transplanted into a nautical theme mainly due to his first name being Endeavour, Nelson's flagship.
What did I take from it ...
You got the dots and dashes for morse code plus some letters and numbers - Morse in his younger years was a code breaker during WWII.
The musical score is for his love of anything Classic especially Wagner.
The lighthouse stand for him being kind of beacon, he can't be corrupted and hasn't got much time for bent cops.
The compass, well ... he follows his inner compass solving crimes.
Apart from that, the card came together using stenciling, stamping, masking and some colouring using watercolour and alcohol markers.
That's it from me for today
Have a lovely day!
