Just Playing with Artsy Tribal Doodles

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a couple of cards today as a little reminder that STAMPlorations have a Never Ending Anything Goes Challenge on their blog.

I've been playing with one of their sets called Artsy Tribal Doodles and lots of colour. Artsy Tribal Doodles is a set of many possibilities ... borders, shapes, frames you name it.

I hadn't used it in a while and just went where curiosity took me with simple stamping, layering and adding my own doodles.

I used gems and sequins to finish my cards off.

That's it from me for now.  I hope you feel inspired to join STAMPlorations Anything Goes Challenge over on their blog.

Wishing you a lovely day!

hugs
Monika 💕

Monochrome and Timeless - take 2

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just sharing a 2nd take on a card I shared a couple of weeks ago ...

I simply used the stencil a second time to use the ink which was left on the stencil itself. I simply sprayed the stencil with a little water and used it to print the trees on my piece of card.

The florals and quote were stamped in the same way as for my previous card.

Here are both next to each other...

That's it from me for now. Wishing you a lovely day.

hugs
Monika 💕

One Idea - Two Looks

Hi Crafty Friends!

As part of my DT contribution for STAMPlorations' participation in the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, I made 2 easy, quick and fun coffee themed birthday cards. Both are based on the same idea yet slightly differently executed. Have a look ...

The front of my first card is simply stamped and finished off with sequins whereas the second one has some stencilling added for extra dimension ...

Both cards carry the sentiment over to the inside ...

... where they are finished off slightly differently.

Now over to you for the blog hop.

Hop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out the lovely creations my Teamies made leaving comments along the way for your chance to win one of the following prizes:

- $20 gift code to One randomly picked commenter on the STAMPlorations Blog
- $10 gift code to Three randomly picked commenter, that is one each from comments left on the three STAMPlorations designers' blogs, one from Vicki's, one from Sue's and one from my blog

Hop over to the Coffee Lovers Blog to check out all the inspiration created by participating companies and their design teams.

That's it from me for now. Enjoy the fun as you hop along ...

hugs
Monika 💕

Monochrome and Timeless

Hi Crafty Friends!

Back with another card today, simply because I want to play along at a couple of challenges.
This is a card for these topsy-turvy times we live in. Have a look ...

Recently I was scrolling through STAMPlorations Typographia stamps when this one, called Be Strong, really hit a nerve. This is for times when one just feels as if there is one thing after another without getting a breather and time to recharge. The last few years have definitely been somewhat like this an it's still ongoing.

Well, anyway, I finally turned it into a card being inspired by the Monochromatic Theme for the soon ending challenge over at Allsorts.

I used my favourite in, Elegant Eggplant by Stampin'Up!, to lightly stencil the trees before roughly inking and stamping the florals. The sentiment was fully inked. These simple variations in intensity add layers and depth.

I am entering my card at:

Allsorts Challenge 849 - Monochromatic or Anything Goes

Word Power May 2026 Challenge - Anything Goes with sentiment as focus

Just Us Girls Challenge 823 - Word Week 'Flowers'

That's it from me for today. Back tomorrow with another make...

hugs
Monika 💕

Reminder Post - May Challenge over at STAMPlorations

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a little reminder that there is still time to play along at May's Anything Goes Challenge over at STAMPlorations.

I made this little card as a bit of inspiration for you ...

My card showcases how versatile The Coffee House papers are. I simply fuzzy cut some of the images and layered them.

It's a card I made for my local baker who recently opened their first Cafe & Bakery. It was simply to wish them luck in their new endeavour. BTW, they're making the most delicious sourdough breads, pastries and buns.

It's your turn now to pop over and play along at STAMPlorations May's Anything Goes Challenge. Please make sure that you read their current challenge rules before linking up.

Hope you enjoyed my caffeinated make ...

Until next time

hugs
Monika 💕
