TMR 7th August - Birthday 6 Years

Hello Crafty Friends!

It is Wednesday and time for a new challenger over at The Male Room challenge blog where the bi-weekly challenge is all about making projects for the men in our lives. Our guest designer for the next fortnight is Deborah, you can check out her fabulous creations on here on Deborah's blog.

My DT project for the new challenge is ...

Each challenge, of course, has a different theme. As you can see, the theme for challenge #117 is Birthday as our challenge celebrates its 6th birthday.. Lots of scope there!

Feeling inspired by Jane's beautiful CAS cards on her Istagram, I went for a minimalist style card with just a few pops of colour. Stretching my stash somewhat i used stamps from a floral set to create my little candle and add the blue accents.

Fancy creating something for a male person in your life, pop over to The Male Room for more inspiration and to link up your masculine makes.

That's it from me for today
Have a lovely day!

Oh, Happy Day!

Hello Crafty Friends!

I've been playing today doing some colouring ....

This is how I felt when I downloaded this beautiful bloomdala sampler digi stamp. It's a freebie and can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog. They are having a Linky Party to celebrate World Colouring Book Day.

I simply coloured the sampler, added some gel pen high lights, fuzzy cut around it, layered it on my Crumb Cake base card, added a sentiment and finished off with a doodled border.

I am entering my card at:
STAMPlorations National Coloring Book Day Linky Party
Crafty Calendar - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes (please be aware that I am on the STAMPlorations DT)

Keeping it short and sweet. Hope you're having a lovely day.

Little Owls

Hello Crafty Friends!

STAMPlorations are releasing a couple of new stamp sets designed by Shirley aka The Bees Knees today. They are owl so fab!

For my DT pieces, I got to work with the little ones. Aren't they cute!?

The background squares are simply stamped using some Prism inks with the ink pad itself being used as stamp.

For my next card, I fancied the idea of an heart shaped moon with one of the owls sitting on a branch.

As always with a new release, there is a little blog hop for you to join. Prizes are as follows:

- ONE (1) winner of a $15 gift code
- ONE (1) winner of her choice of any in-stock The Bee's Knees stamp set
The winners will be drawn at rondom from all the comments left on the STAMPlorations Blog and the participating designer's blogs.

Commenting closes on Thursday 8th August and the winners will be announced in the July Winners Post on August 10.

Links to the participating designer's blogs and more details can be found here on the SAMPlorations Blog.

That's it from me for today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to join the blog hop party and to check out the gorgeous projects my teamies made.

Monster Hugs

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday and this means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations.

My DT piece for this week are a couple of monster inspired cards ...

I thought, it would be fun to have one of them leap off the card with the help of some acetate. I played around a bit and coloured one of leaping monsters with alcohol markers and simply stamped the other one in rainbow colours. Sometimes I just don't fancy doing any colouring ....

Again, I am keeping it short and sweet today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out the fabulous projects my teamies made.

That's it from me for now. Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine!

TMR 24th July - Surf's Up

Hello Crafty Friends!

It is Wednesday and time for a new challenger over at The Male Room challenge blog where the bi-weekly challenge is all about making projects for the men in our lives. Our guest designer for the next fortnight is Lisa A, you can check out her fabulous creations on here on Lisa's blog.

My DT project for the new challenge is ...

Each challenge, of course, has a different theme. As you can see, the theme for challenge #116 is Surf's Up. Lots of scope there!

I had this little surfing penguin for quite a while, and the theme of Surf's Up made it come out to play. The background is a mix of mopped up ink with a bit of stamping. I simply finished off with a die-cut frame, sentiment and rub-on flip flops.

Wishing Ewe

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday and this means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations.

My DT piece for this week is a little CAS card ...

I thought I'd make one last Christmas In July card and dug out these adorable sheep.

I stamped the hats first and masked them off before stamping the sheep. They were easily coloured using alcohol makers and finished off with a touch of Stickles. The tiny trees are finishing off the cute look.

My sentiment is finished off on the inside ...

Again, I am keeping it short and sweet today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out the fabulous projects my teamies made.

That's it from me for now. Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine!
