I used the largest crazy stitch rectangle to cut my triangle from pretty paper, added my sentiment, the coloured coffee cup and doughnuts before finishing off with a few sequins.

Shimmery Bauble

Hi Friends!

Just a quick post today sharing my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

Christmas cards are perfect for adding a bit of shimmer. It's about the only time of year I use mirri card for die-cutting.

Going all out for shimmer, my background was created using Violet and Sea Green Brusho powders with some Iridescent Gold SprinkleIT. It does rather sparkle, but sadly one can't really see it on the photos.

My sentiment was stamped with Elegant Eggplant SU ink.

Courage Is ...

Hi Friends!

Just a quick post today sharing my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

I opted for a mopped-up-ink background colour using Aurore and Cire Izink inks dabbed on my craft mat and spritzed with water. Blossom Sprays #2 was then stamped with Miel Izink ink to complete my background.

The horse was stamped slightly overlapping and coloured with Caran D'Ache Neocolour crayons. My card was finished off with a sentiment, doodles and sequins.

Spring Florals Kit Release at STAMPlorations

Hi Friends!

Today I got four cards for you made using the new Spring Florals Kit by STAMPlorations.

It is being released today and they are celebrating with a little Blog Hop over on the STAMPlorations Blog  Here are my projects ...

This card uses the Mini Leaf Prints 4 stencil from the kit in combination with Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Moved Lawn and Forest Moss DIs for the background. The flowers are watercoloured using a mix of DIs and Izink inks, fuzzy cut and attached in place Unfortunately I didn't make a note of the exact colours I used.

My next card uses a print I took from the stencil (Spritzed with a little water before taking the print on a new piece of card) after blending the background for my first card. It was simply die-cut to size.

The flowers were stamped on a separate piece of card, coloured with watercolour pencils and fuzzy cut before attaching. I cut a piece of card equal in measurements to my die-cut piece to stamp the flowers on. It really helped with the placement of the stamps.

The embossed texture on my base card is from the Rolls Stencil. I simply used the stencil with a rubber/silicone mat in the appropriate sandwich and put it through my Big Shot.

I rather liked how the floral stamp worked being stamped across the corners. It became my inspiration for this card. To finish off, I simply coloured and fuzzy cut the large flower and a couple of leaves, scrunched it all up and added a little glitter glue and a few pearls.

My fourth card features an off-the-edge design for which the floral border is perfect. It's simply stamped along the side of my base card and fuzzy cut around. The inside of the card uses the Rolls Mini Stencil with contrasting Kitsch Flamingo DI

Right, as I mentioned at the beginning of my post the stamps and stencils I used today are part of the new Spring Florals Kit by STAMPlorations being released this month.

The kit consists of two stamp sets, Bloom Border and True & Free, and four stencils, Leaf Prints 4 and Rolls both in standard and mini sizes, only $19.99 including free shipping to the US and Canada.

You can find out more about it and shop for it here.

STAMPlorations are celebrating the release with a little blog hop, the prize being either the Spring Coffee Kit or the Spring Florals Kit - winner's choice.

More Quick Christmas Cards

 Hi Friends!

I'm back with a couple of projects for the Inspiration Post over at STAMPlorations. I used one of their new card fronts and chopped it in two for my quick cards. Here they are ...

I simply fyzzy cut around the florals, layered them on my kraft base card and finished off with a die-cut sentiment and sequin.

From the other part of the card front, I die-cut the topper and added a sticker sentiment before layering it with a simple die-cut panel on my base card.

Latte Thanks

Hello Crafty Friends!

Just a little reminder that there is still time to play at STAMPlorations March Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge. Here is a little more inspiration ...

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Splatters and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

Again I took inspiration from both the theme and the photo for my card.

Going for the white, pink and grey colour scheme and to give a nod to the Nature theme, I started off by stamping the background in grey on my white base card using one stamp from Leafy.

Next I randomly stamped images from Coffee Petites on a die-cut piece of pale pink card and added some brighter pink highlights to some of the images. I finished off my card with a sentiment from the Just Caffeinate Clear Stickers and a couple of sequins.

As for the prizes:
Two winners, one of a $15 gift certificate and one of a $10 gift certificate, will be picked by one member of our DT.
Plus 3 randomly drawn winners will each receive a $5 gift certificate.

In order to be considered for a prize, make sure you've followed the rules here.

Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out how my teamies interpreted the challenge theme and prompt and of course to join in the fun too. More challenge inspiration can be found in the March Challenges Reminder post here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

That's it from me for now. Have a lovely day!
hugs
