Getting Bitty

Hi Friends!

Today I'm sharing a bitty collage card, here it is ...

I just went a little bit crazy with background stamping and using up bits from my desk.

Keeping it short and sweet. Wishing you a lovely day!

December Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends!
Let's welcome December and the start of another round of challenges over at STAMPlorations. Here is my DT piece for this month's Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge ...

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Shimmer and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

My card was inspired by both the theme and the photo prompt. The photo itself made me think of Christmas cookies which are represented in the star and the small Christmas trees. The Joyful Christmas Typographia sentiment stamp had roughly a Christmas tree outline and the shimmer comes from the little gem I used to finish my card off.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:
One winner of a $20 gift code will be picked by one member of our DT.
Plus 3 randomly drawn winners will each receive a $7 gift code.

In order to be considered for a prize, make sure you've followed the rules here.

Here are the affiliate links to the STAMPlorations products used in today's card:

Should you feel like browsing in STAMPlorations online shop, check out their latest offer below.

November Theme & Photo Prompt Reminder

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a quick reminder that there is still time to play along at STAMPlorations November Challenges. Here is my reminder DT project for their Theme & Photo Prompt challenge ...

As you can see the inspiration for my one-layer card came from both the theme and the photo prompt. To start I stamped the circular shapes using stamps from the Artsy Tribal Doodles set. To add contrast, I then used a shape from the Triangles Flexi-Template to help me doodle the border before finishing off with a sentiment from the Birds Of Paradise set.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:
One winner of a $20 gift code will be picked by one member of our DT.
Plus 3 randomly drawn winners will each receive a $7 gift code.

In order to be considered for a prize, make sure you've followed the rules here.

Beach Happy

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday and this means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations.  I thought I'd share an somewhat uplifting card to remind ourselves that nature's beautiful beaches will still be there for us to be enjoyed in good time ...

I die- cut a rectangle from a piece of yellow card using one of the Basic A2 Panels Nesting Dies and decorated it in the style of one of our beach towels using some of the smaller stamps from the Artsy Tribal Doodles set. I finished off with a sandcastle, sunglasses, sentiment (all from Beach Vibes) and a few stencilled dots. Enjoy! 💖

If you feel like bagging yourself a bargain and take advantage of STAMPlorations' Spring Clearance Sale check out the graphic at the end of this post.
You can check out all of STAMPlorations' current promotions here.

That's it from me for today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out my teamies' beautiful makes.

A Cheeky Angel

Hello Crafty Friends! For today's project, made as my Spotlight Tutorial for STAMPlorations, I stamped an angel with a not so angelic cheeky grin. I dug out one of STAMPlorations' past Stamp Club sets called Artsy Tribal Doodles and combined it with a sentiment and small heart from Becca's Funny Kinda Love set.

I leave you to savour this big, characterful grin. If you want to check out the full tutorial, it can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

That's it from me for today. Hope you enjoy the broad grin. If you fancy a bit of angel stamping or make a project using any of the techniques shared by my teamies in their Spotlight Posts, make sure to link up your makes with our Spotlight Project Gallery here.

Have a lovely day!

A 5-Minute Card

... inspired by embroidery ...

Hello Crafty Friends! For today's Spotlight Feature over st STAMPlorations I made a super quick embroidery inspired card using their Artsy Tribal Doodles set.

It all started off with me playing aimlessly with the stitched triangles using bright colours. Whilst my mind was wandering and wondering I must have been thinking how easy it would be to use stamps from the Artsy Tribal Doodles set as a base for simple stitch embroidery, something I must try for real one day.

Anyway, pop over to the STAMPloratiosn Blog for a full tutorial ....

That's it from me for today. If you feel like giving buttons and stitching a try, make sure you link your project up with their Spotlight Project Showcase.

Have a lovely day!

Practical Art

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's my turn today for a Mixed Media Tutorial over at STAMPlorations. I had been meaning to make a storage case for my tablet for quite some time now. Finally I bit the bullet and got on with it.

As I don't use the tablet for taking photos neither do I watch videos on it, I decided not to go for the inclusion of a camera hole. Neither was it necessary to use the case as a stand for watching videos or films. This made it a lot easier, and I opted for a simple sleeve design. Here it is from the front ....

If you want to know how I made it, pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog using the link here.

That's it from me for today, I shall be back after the Bank Holiday with more Inspiration, actually I have quite a few posts planned for next week.

Have a lovely Weekend!
