Just a quick post today sharing my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

I've taken a break from Christmas crafting and took my Ovals Flexi-Template out to give it a little play time.

You can see in my post here how I aligned the ovals to sponge my frame. Of course the florals were stamped first and masked off. I finished off with a bit of script stamping, a partially stamped and die-cut sentiment and a couple of sequins.

Thanksgiving Hop at STAMPlorations

My background was stamped directly on my card base using the Bloomfully Kindness florals and a stamp from Mixed Media Grunge with Hickory Smoke DI. I then picked the matching florals from the Framed Blooms Colorables, coloured them with alcohol markers and attached them in place before finishing off with a skinny sentiment.

Floral Circles

Hi Friends!

Sorry, I've been a bit quiet last week ... but hey, another week and another helping of lovely projects over at STAMPlorations in the Inspiration Post over on their blog. Here is my DT contribution ...

I had made the background for today's card a while ago with the intention of stamping only the outline of the florals. I messed up and put it aside to be reworked at a later date.

Well I picked it up the other day, added some script stamping and the grungy border, the coloured and fuzzy cut florals, sequins and die-cut sentiment to finish.

November Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge at STAMPlorations

Let's welcome November and the start of another round of challenges over at STAMPlorations. Here is my DT piece for this month's Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge ...

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Contrast and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

My card was inspired by both the theme and the photo prompt. I used the Circles and Rectangles Flexi-Templates to create the bold shapes with the doodled frames. The doodled frames and splatters contrast nicely with the clean lines of my stamped and fuzzy cut image. 

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:

Belated 7th Birthday Celebrations at STAMPlorations - Day 3

Hi Crafty Friends!

Welcome to Day 3 of STAMPlorations Belated 7th Birthday Celebrations. It's an opportunity to showcase some of their newer products too.

Today I am putting the focus on The new Bloomfully: Kindness stamp set and the Circles and Ovals Flexi-Templates. Have a look on how I used them ... 

I arranged the Circle Flexi-Templates as shown and attached them with repositionable tape before sponging the background and spritzing with water.

To finish I stamped the flowers in place and added the sentiment.

Next up is a card using the Ovals Flexi-Templates with the Bloomfully: Kindness set.

I arranged the template as shown with the small oval at the bottom holding them together with repositionable tape to create my stencil for the sponged background.

I finished my card off with the stamped florals, sentiment and a couple of sequins.
