Hello Crafty Friends!
It's Tuesday and this means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations. For today's project I am sharing the first double page from my book. Here it is ...
I find a lot of Shery's large sentiments are very motivational and uplifting hence I felt that I wanted to create a little book to showcase them. A sort of a little 'pick me up' read, it could make a nice gift once finished.
The inside of the cover has a little pocket ...
The technique I used for my stencilled background is one I shared using a die as stencil in this tutorial here on the STAMPlorations Blog. I then simply added some stamping to finish. The reverse of this page has space for thoughts and reflections encouraging the reader to explore and journal.
Inside the pocket is plenty of space for more pages should they be needed.
This page is fixed in place and features a brusho background with a bit of stencilling and stamping. The Typographia Doubts sentiment got snippet apart and edged in black before attaching the pieces into place. I then finished off with a Bloomdala Bliss Festive die-cut doily plus some sequins.
Here are a few more close-ups ...
Like the book cover from my post here, these pages would make lovely cards too.
Just giving you a little heads up, some of the STAMPlorations products I used in my project are on offer in their shop this month:
The Artsy Border Maker, Bloom Doodles, Comfort Zone and Doubts are some of the selected stamps on offer at 25% off with code TAKE25.
The Bloomdala Bliss Felicity Dies and the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies like all their CUTplorations dies are on offer at 30% off using code DIES30.
You can check out all their current promotions here.
Again, I am keeping it short and sweet today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out the fabulous projects my teamies made.
That's it from me for now. Have a lovely day!
hugs
Monika
