Happy Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends!

This is the second card using a snowflakes stencil print ...

... and, of course, my favourite polar bear by LOTV had to come out for a play. Doodled border, die-cut sentiment (from a magazine) and a touch of glitter finished my card off.

Wishing you all a lovely day!

Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends!

As promised the first one of the two card I made using stencil prints from the card posted on Monday. Think this was the second one I took, have a look ...

I simply added the die-cut trees by Memory Box, had them for ages, a sentiment from STAMPlorations and a couple of gems to finish.

Wishing you all a lovely day!

Day 1 - STAMPlorations Special Release

Hi Friends!

There are some new stamps being released over at STAMPlorations. If you love a bit of snark, they are definitely for you.

Have a look ...

Today my teamies and I are showcasing the first of the two sets called Hot Mess

Here are a couple of cards I made using these cool sentiments ...

They go very well with the Retro Fashionistas ATC - Ephemera colourables. I simply added some stencilling and background stamping before layering and finishing off with sequins.

There will be a little Release Hop, so please make sure to leave comments as you go along for your entry to win one of the new stamp sets, your choice. The winner will be drawn at random from comments left on all the participating designers' post and the corresponding post on the STAMPlorations Blog here. This is also where you can find all the links to my teamies' blogs too.
The winner will be published on the STAMPlorations Blog on March 10.

Both new stamp sets are available for pre-order at a 25% discount until March 15 from the STAMPlorations Shop (affiliate link).

December Theme & Photo Prompt

Hi Friends!

It's December and it's time for a new round of monthly challenges over at STAMPlorations. Here is my DT piece for December's Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge over on their blog.

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Candles and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

The photo and theme are simply saying Christmas. That's what I went with.

The background got embossed using the Christmas Tree 1 stencil to represent the pine twigs from the photo prompt. The candle from Christmas Joy was stamped on one of the coordinating laser cut shapes and coloured with watercolour pencils and finished off with a touch of glitter glue.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:
One winner of a $20 gift code ($25, if STAMPlorations products were used as the main focal point) will be picked by one member of our DT.
Plus 2 randomly drawn winners will each receive a $10 ($15, if STAMPlorations products were used as the main focal point) gift code.

In order to be considered for a prize, make sure you've followed the rules here.

November Christmas In The Air

Hi Crafty Friends!

I'm sharing a few projects for the Christmas In The Air feature over at STAMPlorations using their new Christmas In The Air Kit #3. Have a look ...

My first card uses the Winter Village stamp set from the kit in combination with the Thrill Of Hope phrase die and a little help from the Three Kings set for the stars.

Did you notice that the large stamp of the row of houses is perfect for stamping the background for the small row of houses? All you have to do is ink up the reverse to stamp the solid colour.

My second card is a slimline card which uses the small bell from the kit's stencil in combination with one of the Ephemera Tiles for the sentiment. The bells were stencilled with Saphire Glitter Frosting Paste.

The colour of the tile can easily be matched by sponging it with matching ink.

My last card is another slimline card using another one of the Ephemera tiles, this time with a little help from the Holly stencil. I don't have the slimline version of it yet, but I was able to align the standard size one in a way to naturally continue the pattern.

Here is a closer look at all three ...

Just Be Happy

Hi Friends!

A quick post today with some coffee goodness. Given that the days have gone much shorter, colder and more rainy here in the UK, I thought it would be a perfect time to be happy, drink coffee and craft ...

Staying with the wintery theme I opted for a stencilled snowflake background and a festive colour scheme for my coffee cup.

I am entering my card at the 2021 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

The products used in my card are from STAMPlorations. These are the ones I used:

October Christmas In The Air

Hi Crafty Friends!

I'm sharing a few projects for the Christmas In The Air feature over at STAMPlorations using their new Christmas In The Air Kit #3. Have a look ...

My first card showcases the phrase die from the kit. It always makes me think of stars hence I combined it with a star from the Shooting Stars square stencil which I stencilled using silver Glitter Frosting Paste. A couple of rounded corners finished my card off.

My second card showcases the bell from the stencil and the Be Joyful Ephemera Tiles which I combined with the Leaves #1 stencil. I used Aurore, Cire, Grenadine and Framboise Izink inks to stencil my bell before adding the leaves in Menth Izink ink. The sentiment tile finished my card off.

My last card showcases Shirley's aka The Bee's Knees new set Winter Village. I kept it simple with minimal colouring on a pearlised basecard and added a bit of stencilling using the Confetti #1 stencil. A touch of glitter finished my card off.

Over on the STAMPlorations Blog you can find projects by Shirley showcasing Kit #3.

Here are a few close-ups of my projects ...
