December TAGplorations Reminder

Hello Crafty Friends!

The TAGplorations Challenge is in full swing over at STAMPlorations. There is still time to join the fun.

The theme for December is: All About Christmas
The optional twist is: to use Glitter

Well, as you can see, I've added a bit of glitter tape in keeping with the optional twist.

I simply did a little bit of die-cutting, layered two Manila Tags, one of which had been die-cut with the Christmas Tree #2 CUTplorations Die. I then simply added the glitter tape, pearl, ribbon and my Christmas Blessings sentiment.

If you love tags, why not give it a go and play along? Your project can be anything as long as it features a tag. You can enter as many projects as you want, but one per blog post please, and you don't have to use STAMPlorations products, yet we'd be thrilled if you would. There is currently a free winter/holiday image to download at STAMPlorations Never ending Anything Goes Challenge here. Please check out the full revised challenge guidelines here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

One lucky winner, voted for by the DT, will win a $15 STAMPlorations gift certificate and 3 randomly picked players will win a $5 STAMPlorations gift certificate each.

Ready for more tagtastic inspiration? Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see the gorgeous projects my teamies created and, of course, to link up your tag project/s too.

You can also check out some gorgeous projects on the Challenge Reminder post here.

That's it from me for today. Have a lovely week.

The Best Christmas Gift

Hello Crafty Friends!

Just a quick post from me today sharing a card I made whilst playing with Uniko's Background Builders: Round In Circles stamps ...

I simply stamped and masked the circles turning them into baubles by adding a bow and strings in black and gold embossing. My ink pads were quite wet and the card is probably not the best for stamping on hence I lost a bit of the line detail in the stamp turning them into 'better' baubles. 😁

I am entering my card at:
Craft Stamper Take It Make It December Challenge - Anything Goes

CAS Colours & Sketches #301 - Seasonal Colours, choose a 2018 colour combination and make it seasonal, I went for Challenge #262 - March 6, 2018 and used the closest colours I had in my stash

Uniko Challenge #50 - celebrate with optional twist gold , this time playing the optional twist with a bit of gold embossing. 😁

Keeping it short and sweet again. Thanks for stopping by.

Have a lovely weekend!

Just Playing

Hello Crafty Friends!

Just a quick post from me today sharing a card I made whilst playing with Uniko's Background Builders: Vines Winter stamps ...

I die-cut a little angular panel and decided to stamp the vines around it. The sentiment looked best being stamped on the panel itself.

I am entering my card at:
CAS Colours & Sketches #301 - Seasonal Colours, choose a 2018 colour combination and make it seasonal, I went for Challenge #275 - June 5, 2018 and used the closest colours I had in my stash

Uniko Challenge #50 - celebrate with optional twist gold , still not playing the optional twist. I'll just have to make another card, I guess. 😁

Keeping it short and sweet again. Thanks for stopping by.

Have a lovely day!

Sparkling Christmas

Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome to the first Tuesday in December and the start of a new TAGplorations Challenge over at STAMPlorations.

The theme for November is: All About Christmas
The optional twist is: to use Glitter

Well, as you can see, I've gone all out for the optional twist of glitter.

I heat embossed this cute tree with sparkling silver embossing powder, filled in the image with glue and sprinkled with glitter.

The CAS look really helps the glitter shine.

If you love tags, why not give it a go and play along? Your project can be anything as long as it features a tag. You can enter as many projects as you want, but one per blog post please, and you don't have to use STAMPlorations products, yet we'd be thrilled if you would. More Poinsettias

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations. Today's project is a quick and easy card, another one of my 'no Christmas stamps' cards, here it is ...

Of course I had to use a Christmas sentiment. I simply gold embossed one of the flower stamps from the Bloom Doodles set to make the poinsettias. They were coloured using brush markers and water brush. The idea was to keep thing easy hence the white frame around the silhouette.

Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog for more Inspiration.

That's it from me for today. Have a lovely week!
