Sharing another card today made with stamps from December's Monthly Make Box by Crafty Roo Designs ...

I used Izink inks for both the watercolour effect background stamping and for watercolouring the flower.

Just wanting to send you some hugs. I've been getting the Monthly Makes Box by Crafty Roo Designs for a few months now ... a treat to help navigate these times ... and today I wanted to share a card I made with stamps from the December box.

Here it is, an almost one-layer card, if it wasn't for the decorative sequin ...

Be Strong

Another week and another helping of lovely projects over at STAMPlorations in the Inspiration Post over on their blog. Here is my DT contributions ...

I'm in the process of sorting through bits in my craft room and came across a background I made a while ago which gave me the idea for Triangles Flexi-Template. You should be able to use them to do something similar.

I started off by blending the card with yellow (Daffodil Delight), added a couple of frames as masks where the colour is still yellow, sponged a bit of Bermuda Bay for the green and Rose Red for the pink/orange. I then added some stamping and water bleaching using stamps from the Art Marks and Mixed Media Grunge sets.

I finished the tag off with a silhouette from Beautiful You and a sentiment from  the Inspirational #1 Clear Stickers. My base card has a lightly sponged brick wall as background and the card was finished off with a few sequins.

January Theme & Photo Prompt Reminder

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a quick reminder that there is still time to play along at STAMPlorations January Challenges. Here is my reminder DT project for their Theme & Photo Prompt challenge ...

You can either follow the theme, which this month is Stamps & Sweets, take inspiration from the photo or incorporate both.

I used both in my project. The cupcake for the sets theme, the golden splatters representing the golden bow and the confetti plus picking some of the colours for colouring the cupcake. The Squares Flexi-Template was used for the sponged background and my one-layer card was complete.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:

Chillax

Hi Friends!

Another week and another helping of lovely projects over at STAMPlorations in the Inspiration Post over on their blog. Here is my DT contributions ...

A while ago I was playing with inks and water on various types of cardstock, this is when I made the background for today's card. If I remember correctly, I inked up the floral silhouette with three colours of die ink, spritzed a piece of card with water and stamped the floral silhouette. The wet card drew the colours in several directions. Once dry, I stamped the floral silhouette again.

All this was done using my stamping tool with the stamp left in place during the drying period. That way it was easy to match up the floral silhouette.

I finally finished it off. The Faces: Charming stencil was perfect to create a card with a dreamy feel. I used glitter medium with my stencil, doodled a border and stamped my sentiment.

Angels without Wings

Hi Friends!

Another week and another helping of lovely projects over at STAMPlorations in the Inspiration Post over on their blog. Here is my DT contributions ...

I created my background using the Circles Flexi-Template in combination with the Winter Flowers stencil, stamped my sentiment and added some golden splatters. The sentiment was stamped at an angle to make it part of the little angel image.

January Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge

Hi Friends!

Happy New Year to you and congratulations for having made it through the previous one. It has been challenging and hopefully 2021 will bring many more blessings, peace and joy.

Let's kick it off with my DT project for January's Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge over at STAMPlorations.

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Shimmer and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

I've taken inspiration from both the theme and the photo. Cakes are sweets as everyone with a sweet tooth will know. My colours reflect the one in the photo plus the stars remind me of the bow.

The cake is simply stamped using Prism inks and finished off with golden splatters, sequins and a die-cut sentiment.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:
