Got a little one-layer card for you today.

I used the circle Poly Plate for my background. The flowers were stamped as borer and coloured with metallic pencils. The stamped sentiment finishes my card.

All stamps and ploy plate used are by Crafty Roo Designs.

Rocking Horse Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends!

I've been using another shape from Charlie Und Paulchen's Weihnachtsladen Spielwaren die set ...

The little rocking horse was coloured using inks. The sentiment was stamped before embossing the card and a couple of embossed lines finished my card off.

Another mainly die-cut little card for you today ... 

All shapes were cut from white card and coloured using DIs. I dug out some of my older dies by Nelli Snellen and Spellbinders for the circular frame, then just added some flowers and sequins before finishing with a stamped sentiment.

Bunny Hello

Today I got a little bunny card for you, it's slimline ... have a look ...

I used one of my old Sizzix Slide Frames to cluster my focal point around. I then added the little bunny from Charlie Und Paulchen, some hearts from Impression Obsession and a stamped sentiment from Clearly Besotted before finishing off with a few clear gems.

Hi Crafty Friends!

Another die-cut card from me today ...

The white frame is from one of the oldest dies I got in my collection, a Sizzix Originals Frame Slide Mounts and Coin Holder. It's embossed with a patchwork pattern embossing folder from Crafter's Companion. I had some die-cut red hearts lying around on my desk which I used to finish off my card after adding a double layered die-cut sentiment from the Big Hugs phrase die by STAMPlorations.

Not My Usual Colours

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today i'm getting a little out of my comfort zone when it comes to colours. Have a look ...

It's an orange/blue theme with a touch of green, yellow and brown. The background has been stamped and splattered. The daisies were stamped, coloured, fuzzy cut and finished of with a touch of glitter glue.

All stamps used are by Crafty Roo Designs and a link to their shop can be found on my favourite suppliers page.

Pawsome Birthday

Sharing a sweet little birthday card made for my hubby. He loves CAS ...

For my one-layer card I used stamps from the Meowy Christmas and Cool Cats stamp sets by Your Next Stamp and simply watercoloured the image using Mer Du Sud, Nuit, The, Brou De Noix, Grenedine and Reglisse Izink inks.

Again I used some strips of paper to start with before stamping the script and daffodils in Nuit Izink ink before adding die-cuts, sentiment and sequins to finish.

Journal Cover 1

Hi Crafty Friends!

I made a little book again, this time to use for art journaling the first completed page of which was posted earlier this week.

Now it's time to share the front cover, here it is ...

I started off with attaching a few strips of pretty paper off cuts to a piece of card. I then added the stencilling with paste, or shall I say All purpose Filler from Home Bargains, and allowed it to dry. I had the filler for a while and it had gone slightly lumpy which made for a rather nice worn look after the lumps were removed. the tube had been opened for a couple of years at least after its last use and only the first bit had set which I was rather pleased about.

Once dry I added some colour to my paste stencilling and a little more stencilling with ink. A bit of stamping and more ink around the edges finished my background off. The butterfly, sentiment, sequins and a touch of glitter finished the cover off.

I took inspiration from Maria's Spotlight projects here and here using the ovals for creating a bold background on which to stencil the bamboo with gold texture paint.

A bit of layering and a die-cut sentiment finished my card off.

Sunflower Journaling

Sharing a little journaling spread today ...

... using stamps by Crafty Roo Designs and a little die-cut heart from my stash.

I started off with gluing pieces of patterned paper down and adding a coat of gesso and watercolour before stating to stamp and colour.

As mentioned earlier, all stamps are by Crafty Roo Designs with the sunflower and sentiment being from their June Monthly Make Box.

 I used some bits from my stash I've had for a while and never used before, the die which came with a magazine and the embossing folder which came with the Diamond Press starter pack quite a few years ago. My card was finished off with a sentiment from a set by STAMPlorations.

Queen Bee

Sharing another card using stamps from the Scribbly Insects set by Dina Wakley Media, this time using the bee and one of the sentiments.

It has more of a mixed media feel. the bee was coloured with metallic pencils and masked before stamping the silhouette foliage using stamps from a couple of sets by Uniko. The script stamp is from a set by STAMPlorations.

I finished off by adding a watercolour shadow around the bee and a touch of glitter glue on the wings.

I've been getting some vastly underused supplies out to have a play. This is the project I made using Dina Wakley Media's Scribbly Insects set which I got a few years ago.

I used one of the butterflies, coloured it with Caran D'Ache Neocolor II crayons and finished off with a sentiment from the Trendy Butterflies 2 set by STAMPlorations.

Robots Galore

Hi Crafty Friends!

Another one of my recent makes using stamps by Crafty Roo Designs ...

This time they came from last month's Monthly Make Box. I watercoloured the robots with Mer Du Sud and Cassis Izink dye inks, the splat was stamped with Nuit Izink dye ink. I added a bit of background stamping using one of Crafty Roo's texture stamps and finished off with swirls and sentiment.

Colour Makes A Difference

Hi Crafty Friends!

Sorry for not posting for a while, my mojo has taken a backseat due to other stuff needing my attention.

Here are a couple of cards I made the other day using stamps by Crafty Ross Designs ...

The cute little foxes were coloured using my Caran D'Ache Neo Colour crayons which always come out when I'm feeling somewhat artsy. You can just scribble the colours before blending them with a damp brush. It's rather fun.

The backgrounds were stamped using part of a Poly Plate. The first card usues Mer Du Sud Izink dye ink for a slightly mottled effect and the second one uses Apple Green Prism ink. The hearts were stamped in Majestic Blue Versafine and the stars in Rainforest Green Prism ink.
