Hi Friends!

Today I got a CAS card for you as my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog. Here it is ...

This little card was made using up bits and bobs left over from other projects assembled on a linen effect base card and finished off with a sticker sentiment and glimmer dots.

The flowers had been gold embossed and watercoloured using brush markers. The leaves had been stamped on a still damp watercoloured background using dye ink.

Rise & Grind

Hi Friends!

Today I got a little coffee lover's card for you as my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog. Here it is ...

Recent sunshine made me think of picnics, something which inspired my card. I stamped the leaves and waves from the Art Marks 3 set as my lawn. The blue from the sentiment is my sky and the coffee cups are a little bit like flowers.

Good Things Happen

Hi Friends!

Today I'm sharing a card made for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop as part of the STAMPlorations DT. I went with another favourite brew ... tea ... here it is

 

Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop

I used some decorative tapes to add the soft spring colours. The gery stamped Blossom Sprays #2 and the die-cut Bloomdala Bliss Felicity die used as a little doily finished off the backdrop for my loosely watercoloured tea cup. The centura pearl base card adds a subtle shimmer which sadly can't bee seen in the photo.

Hi Friends!
Today I got a simply stencilled card for you as my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog. Here it is ...

To add a little luxury, I used whit Centura Pearl card as my base. You can get a sense of the shimmer in the close-up below. The peony was stencilled using Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Di's. I then simply finished off with a stamped sentiment and a couple of sequins.

March Theme & Photo Prompt Reminder

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a quick reminder that there is still time to play along at STAMPlorations March Challenges. Here is my reminder DT project for their Theme & Photo Prompt challenge ...

 

You can either follow the theme, which this month is Stamps & Numbers, take inspiration from the photo or incorporate both.

I used both in my project with the numbers background in combination with the fruit and colour inspiration from the photo. Stamping on a lightly textured base card provided some added interest for the peach especially.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:
One winner of a $20 gift code will be picked by one member of our DT.

My first card uses leaves and small flowers from Deepti's Life Is Sweeter set stamped with Spring Meadow and Purple Velvet Prism inks.

The second card uses Shirley's Super Hero with a bit of added print texture from Shery's Art Marks 3. The star is from the Art Marks set and the sentiment from Noteworthy.

One Of A Kind

Hi Friends!

Something a little different for you today using up some gelli plate prints from quite a while ago.

I simply added some background stamping in black and roast coffee Archival ink The fox and mushrooms were coloured with Caran D'Ache crayons, fuzzy cut and layered. All stamps used today are by Crafty Roo Designs.

As you can see that so far I haven't really moved beyond using the heart stamp from the set as my focal image. I just simply LOVE it!
