Snowflakes

Hi Friends!

I'm on a roll doing some serious de-cluttering, basically the whole house needs re-organising. Hubby and I have been busy.

Nevertheless I found some time to make a couple of quick cards using some of my Uniko goodies and two of my Flexi-Templates. Both cards were inspired by the current challenges over at AAA Cards and Time Out ...

I used the largest rectangle from the Rectangles Flexi-Template, MonikSkinner Designs by STAMPlorations, to quickly mask off the bottom strip before sponging with Periwinkle Prism ink. To finish, I stamped my sentiment and added the partial snowflake die-cut from glittery card, both snowflake die and sentiment by Uniko.

Only partially cutting the snowflake is a really good war for using up smaller pieces of card, yet it still has a great impact.

I had some time to make another quick card, here it is ...

I used the large oval from the Ovals Flexi-Template to sponge my background to which I simply added some stamping and gems to finish.

Keeping it short and sweet again today.

Along The Edge

 Hi Friends!

Today I'm sharing a card inspired by the current challenges over at AAA Cards and Time Out ...

I used a set I've had for a while. I picked it up with the Quick Cards Made Easy magazine some time ago. It was perfect for the along the edge theme. With minimal colouring, layers and a bit of stamping, my card was very quickly made.

Christmas Duo

Hi Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday which means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations. Today's projects follow the same layout with a little bit of tweaking. Here the are, my DT projects ...

I used the Ovals Flex-Template, picked the size to suit my trees and lightly sponged the background using Periwinkle Prism ink. I then simply added the stars, snowflakes and sentiments before popping my trees up against the background.

Quick and easy cards with a delicate festive look.

It's the time of year for reflection, for counting our blessings and to be thankful for even the smallest joys life has on offer.

Right now I am thankful for still being part of the amazing STAMPlorations DT and, as one of their original DT members, for having witnessed Shery's incredible journey building up her little company.

Here is my little card to say 'thank you' ...

I used the Circles Flexi-Templates with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red SU inks to create my background before stamping the leaves and sentiment from the Leaves Of Thanks set.

A Dino Christmas

 Hi Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday which means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations. Today's project is a little off the wall inspired by a request for a little boy's Christmas card I was asked to make. Here it is, my DT project ...

Dinosaurs surely celebrate Christmas too and this little fellow is on his way home in time for Christmas dinner. You can almost hear him whistling and see him skipping with anticipation.

The background is die-cut with a touch of added glitter using the Stitched Winter Landscape and Stitched Snow Hills dies. The sentiment has been made up with a little help from the retired Holiday Artsy set.

November Theme & Photo Prompt Reminder

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a quick reminder that there is still time to play along at STAMPlorations November Challenges. Here is my reminder DT project for their Theme & Photo Prompt challenge ...

As you can see the inspiration for my one-layer card came from both the theme and the photo prompt. To start I stamped the circular shapes using stamps from the Artsy Tribal Doodles set. To add contrast, I then used a shape from the Triangles Flexi-Template to help me doodle the border before finishing off with a sentiment from the Birds Of Paradise set.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:

Another Coffee Christmas

 Hi Crafty Friends!

I'm sharing another coffee themed Christmas card today.

I stamped the image directly on my brusho and infusion powders (Turquoise and Golden Sands) background and coloured it using metallic pencils. A bit of stencilling, stamping and distressed edges finished my card off.
