Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome to November and the start of another round of challenges over at STAMPlorations. Here is my DT piece for this month's Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge ...

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Holidays and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

As you probably already guessed, I took inspiration from both the theme and the photo for my coffee lover's Christmas card. I stamped the background using mainly the outline stamps of the Joy set in combination with the stars from the Kathryn And Christmas set. The sticker was attached to my stamped and fuzzy cut frame.

I thought it might be fun to add a mini Christmas tree cookie to the cups's label.

As for the prizes:
Two winners, one of a $15 gift certificate and one of a $10 gift certificate, will be picked by one member of our DT.
Plus 3 randomly drawn winners will each receive a $5 gift certificate.

Seize The Day With Coffee

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday and this means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations. For my DT project, I made a coffee inspired card and went a little sticker crazy.

Here it is ...

I wanted to try out some of STAMPlorations stickers and used one of the Mixed Media Backgrounds #2 The sentiment sticker went on a piece of vellum which I attached behind the stamped and fuzzy cut frame. The rest was simply a bit of stamping. As you can see, the stickers work well on vellum. One can still see all the layers through it.

National Coffee Day

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's National Coffee Day over in the US hence I thought I'd treat you to a couple of makes as part of the STAMPlorations DT. STAMPlorations are one of the sponsors of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog hop to celebrate the day.

Here are my cards ...

The idea here was to make the light bulb glow with a bit of yellow sponging. I cut around the light bulb before peeling the sticker off, securing it to my card and stamping the beans.

Well, you might have noticed that my photo is different from that on the STAMPlorations blog. Late yesterday I decided to add one more sequin and take new photos.
The little bunny was roughly coloured with watercolour pencils and lightly shaped. The background was easily done by simply attaching one of the Mixed Media Background stickers to my kraft card base.

Coffee Lovers Autumn Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

it's that time of year when the leaves shine in the most beautiful and amazing colours, it's also time for me to join the Coffee Lovers Fall Blog Hop. This is my project:

I sponged my background using Crushed Curry and Real Red Stampin'Up! inks, added some detail using the ARTplorations Dots and Dashes stencil with a touch of Real Red, stamped the leaves (Trendy Leaves by STAMPlorations) in Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip (Stampin'Up!) and added some stamped coffee beans (Latte Love) interest too. Next I stamped coloured and fussy cut my coffee cup (Latte Love by STAMPlorations), stamped my sentiment (Eat Drink Be Merry), layered as shown and finished off with a doodled border.

Latte Love

Hi Everyone,

just a quick post with my Latte Love card to join in the Coffee Lovers Summer Blog Hop before the deadline...

As you can see I am still in my Mixed Media Inspired Zone. My Mod Podge arrived today hence I had a go at some masking techniques. The rest is straight forward stamping and blending to achieve the layers and texture. The card has a sort of a backpackers postcard feel and should fit the Summer theme.
