STAMPlorations Special Release Day 3

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's release week over at STAMPlorations. They are introducing 4 stamp sets perfect for Spring themed cards and more ...

Here are my DT pieces for DAY 3 featuring Softly designed by Sherry aka Shery Russ Designs ...

Adding colour without colouring is the theme of my first card where I stamped the florals on a sponged rainbow coloured background and finished off with a gold embossed sentiment and a few sequins.

When first seeing the floral stamp from Softly, I envisaged it partially fuzzy cut off the edge and backed with a subtle background. Rather than colouring, I felt it could look rather elegant silver embossed with a white background ...

or a pink one adding subtle texture with tissue paper.

Here is Shery's new set ...

here is what I used from

STAMPlorations Shop:

  1. These are just beautiful. I love the idea of leaving them white and adding the color in a different way.

  2. Love the rainbow color used as well as the layering TFS

  3. Great looking cards, they turned out awesome and I like the tissue border cards so pretty...tfs

  4. Absolutely gorgeous! Really loving the simplicity of the second card with the pink tissue paper strip and uncoloured image, such a unique design, love it!

  5. What a cool idea. I have never left the flowers uncolored, but added color over the top. VERY cool.

  6. Love your 1st card with all the pretty colors
of the rainbow. And the next two cards are so
    very elegant.

  7. All are so well designed and beautiful. I love the bright colors in the first one you did especially.

  8. The black & white card is pretty. So often under utilized. Yet, the third one with the soft pink pop is so pretty too! Nice job.

  9. Fabulous cards! Lovely and vibrant. I loved how you created focal points with the ink blended spotlight and the tissue paper texture.

  10. Lovely cards -- especially the first one with those bright colors!

  11. Pretty! Love the rainbow card.

  12. Wow! Both cards are amazing! Love how the image is un-colored. The partial cutting and tissue paper is a truck I will have to try. Thanks for sharing.

  13. Pretty and elegant cards. I like the rainbow colors on the first one.

  14. That first card is a stunner--LOVE it!

  15. What a lovely stamp set. Your images are just beautiful and your cards are all wonderful.
