Celebrate

Hi Friends!

Another Layered Cupcake card from me today as my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

I've just been playing with die-cuts, layered them up and arranged them in a cluster, something I don't often do. Usually you will see some stamping in my cards.

I finished off with a sticker sentiment and a few little nail embellishment flowers. It is always quite good to check out the nail art section in your local shop. Embellishment for finger nails work well on a cards too. 😀

Here are the STAMPlorations products I used in today's card:

Cupcake Builder #1 Dies, Cupcake Builder #2 Dies, Bloomdala Bliss Felicity Dies

Wonky Stitched Grid Cover Plate Die, Clustered Hearts Die, Inspirational #2 Clear Stickers

Should you feel like browsing STAMPlorations' shop, check out their latest offer below.

I've got to be honest, if you use the code and/or the link to the STAMPlorations Shop I provide in my posts for your purchases, I will get a little reward, at no extra cost to you of course.

That's it from me for today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to check out my teamies' beautiful makes.

I shall be back soon with more crafty makes. Until then ... have a lovely day!

Life Happens

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Tuesday and this means it's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations.  I thought I'd share a card to hopefully lift some spirits. Here it is ...

I used one of Helen's new stencils, Petals 3, for my background sponged with Butterscotch Prism ink. The cupcake was die-cut and layered. I even managed to use up some bits left over from when I made my Spotlight projects for this post here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

I created my sentiment by snipping off the word 'coffee' from one of the Coffee Time stickers and replaced it with a heat embossed 'cake'. All that was left to do was to finish my card with a couple of black pearls and rounded corners.

If you feel like bagging yourself a bargain and take advantage of STAMPlorations Springtime Sale check out the graphic at the end of this post.
You can check out all of STAMPlorations' current promotions here.

Eat More Banana Cake

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Inspiration Time over at STAMPlorations. This week my teamies and I are showcasing stamps by our very own Deepti under her label 'Dee's Artsy Impressions'.

I decided to work with Chikoo Goes Bananas and the yummy Cupcake Builder #1 dies to create this cheerful make. ...

I basically die-cut the cupcake pieces and layered them up to make 2 cupcakes. Chikoo was stamped, watercoloured using markers and fuzzy cut. I decided to pinch a sentiment from one of Shirley's sets and use it as a way of grounding the cupcakes.

As mentioned earlier, this week we are showcasing stamps designed by Deepti under her label 'Dee's Artsy Impressions'. All her sets will be on sale for the week until Monday 25th March at 10% off, no coupon needed, the discount will be automatically applied.

For more inspiration, pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog. pop to see what my teamies created and to leave a comment for your entry into their prize draw.

That's it from me for today. Have a lovely week!

Banana Love

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's 1st Tuesday in February and the start of a new TAGplorations Challenge over at STAMPlorations.

The theme for February is: All About Love

The optional twist is: to use Cupcakes

Well, as you can see, I'm 'playing' the optional twist with my cupcake shaker and banana love.

Instead of filling the shaker element with sequins, I used tiny punched paper hearts. The background is sponged with a few water splatters and stamped with hearts and sentiment. The cheeky monkeys were stamped and watercoloured on mixed media card and fuzzy cut.

If you love tags, why not give it a go and play along? Your project can be anything as long as it features a tag. You can enter as many projects as you want, but one per blog post please, and you don't have to use STAMPlorations products, yet we'd be thrilled if you would. There is currently a free winter/holiday image to download at STAMPlorations Never ending Anything Goes Challenge here. Please check out the full revised challenge guidelines here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

One lucky winner, voted for by the DT, will win a $15 STAMPlorations gift certificate and 3 randomly picked players will win a $5 STAMPlorations gift certificate each.

Ready for more tagtastic inspiration? Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see the gorgeous projects my teamies created and, of course, to link up your tag project/s too.

That's it from me for today. Have a lovely week.
