Before you start, here's a little bit of DT inspiration from me ...
I've been playing with the Stitched Tags Nesting Dies and some finger paints for the background.
First up is this little angelic tag for which I blended the edges with Elegant Eggplant before stamping the snowflakes in Blackcurrant Jam. I then added a touch of silver foil as magic dust to my background and finished off with the sweet angel, the STAMPcut sentiment, some scattered gems, matching Stickles around the edges. and organza ribbon.
My next tag was inspired by how we spent Christmas 10 years ago ...
... in our little caravan at St Margaret's Park close to Chirk Castle, North Wales. It was something we had been talking about doing for several years.
The Campers of Cheer Ephemera were just perfect for evoking this memory. This time I applied the base colour after I cut the tag which gave me this lovely arch outline adding extra depth and hinting at Chirk Castle's famous white gates.
The edges were blended with Nuit, the Christmas Tree stencilled in Peacock Green and the snowflakes stamped in French Navy.
The STAMPcut sentiment, a star gem, organza ribbon and my Camper of Cheer finished my tag off.
Hopefully my DT pieces provided you with some inspiration to get creative yourself and join the Holiday TAGplorations Challenge and Blog Hop over at STAMPlorations.
