Funky Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends!

Sharing a quick card today to let you know about the latest offer over at STAMPlorations. Shery has launched a new subscription offer - the Paper Goods Subscription.

My card features their What's Up Ephemera Tiles, which are part of their paper goods range , here it is ...

The What's Up Ephemera Tiles come in sheets of 6 which make for great backgrounds. As you can see they are also great for use with die-cuts.

I simply added a die-cut sentiment and heart to a sheet of the tiles.

Here are the STAMPlorations products I used in today's card:

Taking It Easy

Hello Crafty Friends!

Well, I am back with an Inspiration project for STAMPlorations. Their birthday celebrations might be over, but I still have quite a few birthdays to come this month. Given that it is super hot her in the UK, I thought I'd take it easy and go for easy to make cards this month. Here is my first one ...

... spritzed with a little liquid watercolour, a little stamping and die-cutting finished off with a couple of rounded corners and sequins.

I am still getting used to my new Izink inks whilst also using up some white card that I just can't throw everything at .... simple stamping works best.

Throughout July, August and September STAMPlorations are having 15% off on all stamps, stencils and dies on Tuesdays only, no coupon needed. This offer can be combined with my personal discount code STAMPGIRLMONIKA to give you an added 20% off taking the total discount to 35%, just saying ....

CUTplorations November Challenge

Hello Crafty Friends!

Over at STAMPlorations it's the second month of their new challenge ... The CUTplorations Challenge ... It's a monthly challenge requiring you to use die(s) and take inspiration from the monthly changing photo which for this month is ...

So what have we got ...
  • skeleton leaves
  • rain drops
  • umbrella
  • girl being blown about in the wind
  • grey background
  • colours: purple, orange and yellow plus B&W
  • autumn theme, cold, damp and windy

I went with the leaves, colours and the autumn theme which made me think of warm and hot drinks ...

I stamped the leaves using the textured ones from the Trendy Leaves set to get some of the translucent effect of skeleton leaves. I then stamped and fuzzy cut my Sketchy Coffee Cups, added and coloured the heart and attached it to my card. I then added the die-cut border from the upcoming Art Edges Cutplorations Edge/Border Dies (watch out for a Mini Release Hop next week), die-cut and attached the Birthday sentiment. Next I die-cut the Warm Winter Wishes Phrase Die, snipped off the warm and wishes and added them to my card before finishing off with some doodled stem and hearts.

Here is another look ...

Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see how my teamies interpreted the photo and to link up your entry too. A little birdie told me that you could win some of the word/phrase dies we used in our projects in their random draw.

That's it from me for now.
Have a lovely day!

Brushoitis

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's been a while since my friend Julie diagnosed me with Brushoitis. So far it hasn't shown any signs of fading as you can see from today's DT project for STAMPlorations' Inspirations Post.

Here it is...

I was working playing with the Bubble Dance ARTplorations Stencil, sprinkled it with Brushos and spritzed with water which left me with this lovely multi-coloured background. It as too nice to cover up, but I still wanted to make a bold statement. I decided to use the negative of the CUTplorations Word Die Happy in combination with the die-cut Birthday, layerd it on my background, attached it to my black base card leaving a narrow border on two sides only and added a couple of sequins to finish.

A quick and easy card to make. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog for more inspiration on how to use their products and to leave a comment for your entry in their monthly prize draw.

That's it from me for today. I shall be back soon.
Have a lovely day!
