Bunny Thanks

Hi Crafty Friends!

Had to make another bunny card, I just couldn't help it. 😁 I needed a Thank You card to give to one of our neighbours, here it is ...

I made a super skinny DL card, only 7 cm high, die-cut the large letters and populated them with the bunnies and a couple of hearts.

Wishing you all a lovely day!

Easter Bunny

Hi Crafty Friends!

Originally I had only one post planned for today, but then I came across a little Easter card competition ...

It was a bit of a challenge as I normally don't make Easter cards. However I found this little bunny which I've literally had for years. It was stamped, coloured and popped up against some stamped daffodils. The card was finished off with a stamped sentiment and a few sequins.

Daffodil stamp from a set by STAMPlorations, sentiment stamp from a set by Clearly Besotted and the bunny is from a set which came with a magazine a few years ago.

Wishing you all a lovely day!

Dragonfly Hello

Hi Crafty Friends!

Here is today's project, my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

I've gone for a CAS theme with minimal colour. A touch of ink blended through a stencil provides a quick and easy background for this type of card. The dragonfly outline was cit twice and sandwiched between in a solid cut shape of vellum. Inks used for blending were Mer Du Sud and Petrole Izink dye inks.

Here are the STAMPlorations products I used in today's card:

Tulip Smiles

Hi Crafty Friends!

Spreading a bit of Spring Cheer today. I recently won a stamp set of my choice from Crafty Roo Designs when my name got pulled out of a hat. I chose Trudy Spring Corner for the lovely tulips. Here is the first of my makes using this set ...

The background was built with Roo-stamps I already had in my stash: bubbles poly plate, lots of hearts mini textures, spring doodle words and a texture stamp from last year's advent calendar. I finished off with a touch of glitter, gem and die-cut sentiment.

Wishing you all a lovely day!

April Theme & Photo Prompt

Hi Crafty Friends!

Welcome April, it's time for a new round of monthly challenges over at STAMPlorations. Here is my DT piece for April's Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge over on their blog.

The theme for the current challenge is Stamps & Text and the photo prompt can be seen below. Your project can either be inspired by the theme, photo prompt or both. The full challenge rules can be found here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

Sometimes one can get rather fixed on images. This is what a sort of happened to me when trying to decide what to make as my DT piece plus I didn't want to do some random stamping using chosen words/sentiments from various sets. Using the large Typographia sentiments seemed to be a bit too easy.

That's when I remembered some old favourites which I was sure had made their way to STAMPlorations digital store ... so I dug out the Subway Art Builder Dare and Create.

Whilst I used the stamp version of the digis and stamped them next to each other on the card, it should be quite easy to align the two large digis (you get all 10 sentiments as separate files plus two large images with the 5 sentiments each arranged as they were for the stamps) and print them directly onto your base card or topper.

To finish, I simply added the brush and sentiment from Life In Full Color and a splatter from Art Marks.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:
One winner of a $20 gift code ($25, if STAMPlorations products were used as the main focal point) will be picked by one member of our DT.
Plus 2 randomly drawn winners will each receive a $10 ($15, if STAMPlorations products were used as the main focal point) gift code.

In order to be considered for a prize, make sure you've followed the rules here.

These are the STAMPlorations products I used in today's card:
