May TAGplorations Reminder

Hello Crafty Friends!

May's TAGplorations Challenge is in full swing over at STAMPlorations. There is still time to play along ...

The theme for May is: All About Mom

The optional twist is: to use Vellum

Here is my artsy looking tag ....

It doesn't need much colouring, just a little bit on the butterflies.

I used the Fluttery Garden digi stamps, resized them and printed out two, one was for a full card front, which I cut the tag from, and the other one was for half a card front, which I needed for the layered butterfly.

Next I pencil coloured the butterflies and wings and added splatters using my spritzing inks. I heat embossed and die-cut my sentiment, added the fuzzy cut butterfly and finished off with ribbon and candy dots.

If you love tags, why not give it a go and play along? Your project can be anything as long as it features a tag. You can enter as many projects as you want, but one per blog post please, and you don't have to use STAMPlorations products, yet we'd be thrilled if you would. There is currently a free image to download at STAMPlorations Never ending Anything Goes Challenge here. Please check out the full revised challenge guidelines here on the STAMPlorations Blog.

One lucky winner, voted for by the DT, will win a $15 STAMPlorations gift certificate and 3 randomly picked players will win a $5 STAMPlorations gift certificate each.

Ready for more tagtastic inspiration? Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog to see the gorgeous projects my teamies created and, of course, to link up your tag project/s too.

More challenge and tag inspirations can be found here in the May Challenges Reminder post over on the STAMPlorations Blog.

That's it from me for today. Have a lovely weekend.

hugs

Hello Crafty Friends!

There is another helping of winged themed inspiration over at STAMPlorations. This month they are celebrating Spring with their Things With Wings Blog Hop & Linky Party.

For today's DT piece, I played with another STAMPlorations Digi, Fluttery Garden A2 Card Fronts - set of 6. Have a look ...

I coloured it with alcohol markers, fuzzy cur around it, layered it on my base card, added a few gel pen highlights and finished off with a sentiment feather and sequins.

If you fancy making your own winged make, why not link it up and join the fun by hopping along ...
As with any blog hop, leaving comments as you go along will give you entries into a prize raw. Here is what you could win:

• FIVE (5) winners of $10 gift code - randomly drawn from all comments left on the blog and participating designers blogs
• THREE (3) winners of $15 gift certificate - randomly drawn from all Things with Wings linky party entries

Liking up and commenting finishes on Tuesday 4th June. Winners will be announced on 10th June along with the May challenge winners. Good Luck!

During May all the products in the Things With Wings section in STAMPlorations' Shop will be on sale at 15% off, no coupon needed, the discount is automatically applied at checkout. This offer can be used in combination with my personal discount code STAMPGIRLMONIKA for an added 20% off.

Here is one last look at my winged project ...

That's it from me for today. Pop over to the STAMPlorations Blog for more winged inspiration and to join the party!

Have fun!
