Slimline Celebrations

Hi Friends!

Some new ARTplorations slimline stencils arrived through the post the other day. Plus I treated myself to a a few new makeup brushes, not for my face of course, but rather for use with the new stencils. 😁 I was lucky to get some double ended ones at Primarni* and went straight to work.

Here is today's project, my DT piece for the Inspiration Post over on the STAMPlorations blog ...

Here in the UK the measurements for slimline cards are a little different, I had to adjust things a bit to our DL size cards. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to find any envelopes and postage could go through the roof too.

Bearing that in mind I cut a piece of white card, picked up my rubber mat and the Bloom Collage slimline stencil and run it through my Big Shot for embossing. Leaving the stencil in place, i picked up some SU inks (Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive) and started brushing to my heart's delight. To finish, all I needed to do was adding a die-cut sentiment and a little punched border.
