I liked the sentiments from this month's release so much that I made a batch of cards featuring them. Today's make is certainly one for gin lovers.

Reminder April Theme & Photo Prompt

Hi Crafty Friends!

Just a quick reminder that there is still time to play along at STAMPlorations April Challenges. Here is my reminder DT project for their Theme & Photo Prompt challenge ...

You can either follow the theme, which this month is Stamps & Curves, take inspiration from the photo or incorporate both.

I used both in my project by picking the citrus from the photo as inspiration for my card. I brought a little bit of lime in by stamping part of my sentiment with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide.

As for the Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge prizes:

STAMPlorations Summer Release Day 2

Hello Crafty Friends!

Welcome to Day 2 of the STAMPlorations Summer Release. Today my teamies and I are showcasing the second set of new layering stamps designed by our very own Shirley. It is really fun and very versatile. Here it is, Layered Citrus ...

.... and here are my samples ....

I have gone a little bit back to basics with these hence the zesty border on a watercolour spritzed background. Maria once said, that I like to stamp borders, and she is definitely right.

Next up is another CAS card, one-layer with rounded corners. The added twist is that the lemon is stamped in colour only rather than using a black outline.
